Unisys has announced the latest version of its Unisys Stealth enterprise security platform.
The platform comprises half a dozen subsystems aimed at addressing different areas of enterprise IT. Its Stealth(core) component, for example, is aimed at minimizing the attack surface through things like data encryption and cloaking, while Stealth(aware) offers automation and policy configuration tools.
Another component, Stealth(identity), focuses on biometric enrollment and authentication. Version 2.7 of Stealth(identity) was announced this past July.
Now, version 6.0 of the overarching Stealth platform delivers an upgraded user interface, including “enhanced visualization and dashboard tools”, according to Unisys. The aim it simplify IT reporting and deployment for enterprise organizations.
“Unisys Stealth gives clients the ability to see, segment and secure the entirety of their global infrastructure through a single touchpoint,” explained Vishal Gupta, the company’s Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Products and Platforms. “With more enterprises managing a remote workforce and increasing reliance on the cloud since the pandemic started, the need to consolidate and simplify security is more important than ever.”
That, of course, is a reference to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has compelled organizations around the world to rapidly transition into remote work frameworks, and to manage increased activity through digital channels.
In addition to meeting these new challenges, Gupta said that Stealth can also help businesses “to meet privacy and compliance standards while reducing cost and complexity.”
Stealth is available for deployment across major cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, and offers virtual agent support on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android.
