Unisys has issued its Q3 results showing strong growth for the IT solutions provider.
Revenues for the quarter came in at $688.3 million, up 3.3 percent year-over-year, and marking the fourth consecutive quarter of growth. Net income came in at $6.1 million for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $41.1 million in Q3 of 2017.
Unisys highlighted four major contracts established during the third quarter in its corporate update, including a deal to provide the US Army with biometric software for phase one of its Next Generation Biometric Collection Capability, which will enable to Army to achieve “efficient, near real-time, identity matches to the soldier in the field.”
Other major contracts include a deal to provide data storage services for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency, a data analytics project for Bangalore International Airport Limited, and an order for Unisys’s Elevate banking platform from Monmouthshire Building Society allowing the firm to offer account services to customers.
Unisys reaffirmed its revenue guidance for the full year in its Q3 update, predicting non-GAAP adjusted revenues between $2.7 billion and 2.825 billion for 2018.
