TypingDNA has become a member of the ForgeRock Trust Network, opening the door for its behavioral biometrics technology to be embraced by ForgeRock Identity Platform clients.
TypingDNA’s particular brand of behavioral biometrics technology revolves around the analysis of typing patterns. This analysis allows the TypingDNA platform to establish a risk score for end users, and to flag potential account takeovers and other malfeasance.
The company says its anti-fraud solution can also be used to authenticate users by analyzing how they type login credentials or a particular phrase, which can be as short as just 28 characters.
ForgeRock, meanwhile, offers an enterprise-focused identity platform that has been curated to include support for various third party authentication systems. With the integration of TypingDNA’s API into its platform, ForgeRock customers now have access to another valuable tool for digital security.
“Our partners help us make the ForgeRock Identity Platform stronger, by bringing new and exciting technologies to our customers,” explained ForgeRock Global Business and Corporate Development SVP Ben Goodman in a statement announcing the integration. “We believe user-friendly solutions like TypingDNA’s typing biometrics authentication API are key to streamlining the digital journeys of consumers, and the security of employees.”
The partnership’s announcement underscores both companies’ upward trajectories, with each having marked important business milestones in recent months. ForgeRock raised $93.5 million in a Series E funding round closed in April, while TypingDNA kicked off the year with a Series A funding round that brought in $7 million.
