“In his new position with TypingDNA, Freeman will be based in the company’s US office, and will focus on building its presence in the American market.”
As it seeks to expand, Romania-based behavioral biometrics startup TypingDNA has announced the appointment of a new Vice President of Sales.
The new VP, Terry Freeman, comes to the company from a position as the Director of Sales for North America for Bitdefender, a developer of anti-virus software. He has also held previous positions with Proofpoint, Symantec, KANA Software, KPMG, Oracle, Unisys, and TRW Space & Defense, a CV attesting to his technological expertise.
In a statement announcing Freeman’s appointment, TypingDNA emphasized his sales experience, asserting that in his role with Bitdefender, he “was vital in driving sales development.” In his new position with TypingDNA, Freeman will be based in the company’s US office, and will focus on building its presence in the American market.
“Freeman’s track record of success will be invaluable as TypingDNA sees accelerated growth in behavioral biometrics,” commented TypingDNA Chief Revenue Officer Tudor Goicea.
The appointment’s announcement comes after TypingDNA secured $1.5 million in seed funding near the start of this year, offering a launch pad for the company’s growth strategy as it seeks to capitalize on the growing demand for behavioral biometrics security solutions.
