“We are embarking on a new frontier in credentialing of individuals online with secure ID authentication using gesture biometrics with BioSig-ID.” – Jeff Maynard, CEO, Biometric Signature ID
Biometric Signature ID (or “BSI”) has a high-profile speaking engagement coming up, and the company’s chief executive plans to take the opportunity to highlight the benefits of BSI’s unique authentication solution in online testing and credentialing.
The venue will be this week’s ICE Exchange, which is running from November 18th to 21st in San Diego. It’s a conference aimed at credentialing professionals, and featuring an array of workshops, keynote talks, roundtable discussions, and other industry-focused programming. Jeff Maynard, BSI’s CEO, will speak on the 21st, giving a talk entitled “Machine learning and Gesture Biometrics to secure online assessments: 2 year Case Study”.
As the name suggests, the presentation will focus on a two-year case study, in which BSI’s gesture recognition technology was used to verify the identities of more than 100,000 members of an association who were requested to take online courses for accreditation. With its capability of establishing unique biometric profiles based on users’ finger- or mouse-drawn passwords, BSI’s BioSig-ID solution performed millions of authentications, driving down the number of reported help desk calls to under one percent, and helping to detect the kinds of atypical behaviors that can be used to flag cheating attempts.
“We are embarking on a new frontier in credentialing of individuals online with secure ID authentication using gesture biometrics with BioSig-ID,” asserted Maynard in a statement announcing his ICE Exchange talk.
It’s a compelling case that could resonate with the ICE Exchange crowd as demand for online testing and accreditation continues to grow. BSI’s chief executive will lay out the case in detail starting at 9:30am on November 21st, with his presentation slated for Room Sapphire B of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
