Daon has announced a cloud-based version of its renowned IdentityX biometric platform.
TrustX was developed with a focus on making it easy for organizations to manage their users’ digital identity lifecycle, offering a no-code, drag-and-drop orchestration tool to create identity and authentication workflows. The solution is built to run on Amazon Web Services, arriving after Daon brought its on–premises solution, IdentityX, to AWS near the end of last year.
Like IdentityX, TrustX supports multiple biometric modalities for identity verification and authentication, including facial, fingerprint, iris, palm, and voice biometrics. It also supports non-biometric authentication mechanisms including PINs, passcodes, and device verification.
But as a cloud service, TrustX is entirely managed by Daon, enabling customers to focus on other priorities. It will automatically deliver platform updates on a continuous basis, and is built to ensure compliance with various state and government privacy regulations.
“Powered by the knowledge and technology from Daon’s 20+ years of innovation in the biometrics industry and leveraging over 160+ related Daon patents, our AI and ML matching engine brings to market a true world-class SaaS identity platform,” said Daon President and Chief Product Officer Ralph Rodriguez.
The cloud offering represents the latest marker in Daon’s evolution as a leading provider of identity and authentication solutions after helping to pioneer the mobile biometrics revolution of the last decade, bringing the company’s flagship platform to a cloud-focused paradigm that is now being embraced by a growing number of businesses and other organizations.
