The deployment encompasses more than 400 IXM TITAN biometric devices to manage time and attendance for over 65,000 contract workers. The system, which integrates with Invixium’s IXM WEB software platform, provides comprehensive workforce management capabilities including personnel enrollment, identity verification, time tracking, analytics, and detailed audit trails.
The TITAN devices were selected for their ability to maintain high speed and accuracy in challenging environmental conditions, including construction sites. The implementation features cellular connectivity to ensure uninterrupted operations with 100 percent uptime. Beyond basic time and attendance tracking, Transguard has expanded the system’s use to include general workforce management and meal management functions.
Tim Mundell, Chief Security Officer at Transguard Group, described the TITAN system as “invaluable” for their biometric time and attendance requirements, noting its role in their digital transformation strategy. “Invixium worked very closely with our management team to deliver an automated workforce management solution that delivers exceptional administration efficiency, heightened employee sustainability, and extreme accuracy to eliminate time theft with detailed audit trails,” Mundell stated.
Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President of Invixium, highlighted the project’s scale and impact: “The scale of this massive industrial project allowed us to deliver significant savings in time and costs for Transguard Group.” Kapadia added that the collaboration has improved operational efficiencies and provided lasting benefits to Transguard’s business operations.
This implementation follows Invixium’s track record of large-scale industrial deployments, similar to their previous installation of over 400 TITAN readers at South Africa’s Crocodile River Mine.
