The inaugural FindBiometrics Identity Summit is a wrap, and preparations are now underway for the Enterprise Biometrics Online Summit in September.
A look back at last week’s virtual conference offers some idea of what to expect for the next one. The FindBiometrics Identity Summit was kicked off by Acuity Market Intelligence Principal Analyst Maxine Most, who delivered a rousing presentation – entitled “Harnessing the Tornado” – illustrating just how much excitement there is in the fast-rising financial services biometrics market.
The virtual conference that followed saw a number of fascinating conversations in the form of fireside chats and expert panels. High-level executives from IDmission and Jumio discussed the white-hot trend of selfie onboarding with Maxine Most, for example; and Frost & Sullivan Security Industry Analyst Danielle VanZandt found herself in the middle of a debate between Nok Nok Chief Business Development Officer Walter Beisheim and FaceTec CEO Kevin Alan Tussy, over the best approach to authentication in the mobile channel.
The day also saw some one-on-one interviews with Aerendir CEO Dr. Martin Zizi, Nok Nok VP of Products Rolf Lindemann, and Jumio Chief Product Officer Bala Kumar; and it featured special presentations and panel sessions with experts from industry leaders Daon, Aware, Inc., Incode, and TypingDNA.
All of the above – along with a special session on smart Point-of-Sale technology and an interactive virtual Expo Hall – helped to prompt some very positive feedback from attendees and presenters alike, and the team at FindBiometrics is now looking to carry that momentum into our next big event, “Enterprise Biometrics Online Summit: Making Digital Transformation Work for You“.
Slated for September 22, 2021, the event will feature numerous sessions focusing on different aspects of the digital transformation that is sweeping across the enterprise, with a focus on security, optimization, and regulatory compliance. The day’s discussions will touch on a range of exciting technologies, from facial recognition and machine learning to fever detection and wellness checks, and will deliver tangible insights for corporate decision-makers to take back to the office.
Registration for the event will open soon, so stay tuned to FindBiometrics for further updates over the coming weeks!
