It’s summer and the global economy has been slowed way down by the COVID-19 pandemic, but you wouldn’t necessarily know it from this week’s roundup of FindBiometrics’ top stories. Covering a diverse range of topics, they generally suggest that the biometrics industry is pushing ahead full steam.
One highly popular story, for example, concerned a new partnership between Fingerprint Cards and STMicroelectronics. The two companies will work together on a Biometric System-on-Card solution for fingerprint-scanning payment cards:

Onfido had some very positive news recently, too, attracting a lot of attention from FindBiometrics readers with a quarterly update in which the selfie biometrics specialist reported a 264 percent sales increase in the United States:
