Telos ID Gets FBI Certification for Biometric Authentication Tools

Identity management solutions provider Telos ID has announced that its MobileAssure Fingerprint Web Capture and MobileAssure Universal Enrollment software has received FBI certification. These biometric credentialing solutions are now compliant with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Justice Information Services Division’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) Image Quality Specifications Appendix F.

Given its utility in their line of work, government security agencies have long been interested biometric technology, and US government agencies are no exception.
