Joey Pritikin has joined Paravision as the company’s new Chief Product Officer (CPO). Pritikin is the founder of Tascent, and is leaving his Co-CEO post at Tascent to take on the Paravision position.
“Paravision’s ability to attract industry veterans like Joey demonstrates the potential of our technology and the opportunity for growth in the computer vision space,” said Paravision CEO Doug Aley. “Joey’s impressive track record will help us build on our exponential growth while continuing to look for new ways to better serve our customers.”
As Paravision’s new CPO, Pritikin will be in charge of everything related to marketing and product management. Formerly known as Ever AI, the recently rebranded Paravision is a developer of facial recognition technology that has scored top marks on the NIST’s Face Recognition Vendor Test on more than one occasion.
“I’m thrilled to join the team at Paravision, which has established a clear leadership position in face recognition technology while maintaining a focus on flexibility, collaboration, and trust,” added Pritikin.
At Tascent, Pritikin helped build a thriving iris and face recognition portfolio over the course of several years, forging partnerships with companies like NEC and Panasonic. Tascent’s Insight Face solution also bested the competition in the Department of Homeland Security’s second Biometric Technology Rally.
