Synaptics Sets February Date for Next Quarterly Report

Synaptics has set a date for its next quarterly report. The company will share the results for the second fiscal quarter of 2020 after the market closes on Thursday, February 6. It will then discuss the results during a conference call for analysts and investors.

Those interested in joining the live call are invited to dial in to 1-800-367-2403 with the confirmation code 2410025. The call is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PT (or 5:00 p.m. ET) on February 6, and will be live cast simultaneously in the Investor Relations section of the Synaptics website. An archived version of the webcast will appear in the same place shortly after.

With the report, Synaptics will be hoping to build on its strong Q1 performance. That report was the first under the leadership of new CEO Michael Hurlston, and reversed a downward trend with $339.9 million in net revenues. Dean Butler signed on as the company’s new CFO shortly after.

In the last report, Butler indicated that Synaptics’ Q2 revenues could be as high as $365 million, thanks in large part to its mobile solutions, which are expected to represent 54 percent of the company’s business. IoT (25 percent) and PC products (21 percent) are also expected to be significant factors.
