“…Suprema Connect 2020 will begin on September 15 and is slated to run for a full month, with the company preparing to showcase contactless biometric technologies in particular over the course of its run.”
Suprema is planning to showcase its new multimodal biometric terminal in a live, virtual event on September 17, and is inviting industry professionals to take a look at what it can do.
The demo session will be part of Suprema Connect 2020, the company’s first virtual event. Announced just a couple of weeks ago, Suprema Connect 2020 will begin on September 15 and is slated to run for a full month, with the company preparing to showcase contactless biometric technologies in particular over the course of its run.
The company’s new FaceStation F2 Fusion Multimodal Terminal may prove to be particularly appealing. The terminal uses both visual and infrared facial recognition with a False Acceptance Rate of only one in 1 billion. And while the terminal also supports fingerprint recognition, its highly accurate face scanning and its support for up to 50,000 registered face templates could be a major selling point during the pandemic era of social distancing.
Suprema plans to showcase the terminal in two live sessions on September 17, in order to accommodate international audiences. The first will be at 12:00 a.m. GMT+9, and the second will be at 4:00 p.m. GMT+9.
In announcing its planned showcases for the FaceStation F2 Fusion, Suprema also noted that additional live sessions are planned on September 22 and 24. The first will focus on Suprema’s “Mobile Access Solution”, while the second is titled “Access Control Solution”. The live events will feature Q&A and discussion sessions for participants.
