“We take great pride in offering BM-Slim2, the world’s slimmest fingerprint sensor of its kind, to TazTag’s new mobile devices that have been widely used in many vertical markets including telco, banking and law enforcement applications.” -Bogun Park, CEO, Suprema
Suprema‘s fingerprint sensor technology has just seen integrations into three new devices from TazTag, a provider of customizable mobile devices for businesses.
One of the devices, the TazPad LTR, is an IP64-rated tablet available in 7″ or 8″ sizes. Another, the TazPad eXS is a handheld Android device with a 5″ display; while the third product, the TazPoS, is an EMV- and PCI-certified Point of Sale device.
Each of the new TazTag solutions features the BM-Slim2, Suprema’s FAP20 fingerprint reader.
In a statement announcing the integrations, Suprema highlighted the BM-Slim2’s Live Fingerprint Detection system and its “very low power consumption”, as well as its large scanning area. CEO Bogun Park also lauded TazTag’s mobile devices, asserting that they “have been widely used in many vertical markets including telco, banking and law enforcement applications.”
TazTag will showcase the new devices at the Trustech 2018 exhibition, which will run from November 27th to 29th in Cannes, France.
