“The award win comes after Suprema unveiled a new FAP 30 fingerprint scanner at this year’s Trustech exhibition in France…”
Suprema has won a major accolade from its compatriots at Security World, a South Korea-based, security-focused media organization. The company won in the category of “Best Fingerprint Solution of the Year” in Security World’s Security Award Korea 2018 program.
The award win comes after Suprema unveiled a new FAP 30 fingerprint scanner at this year’s Trustech exhibition in France, a device featuring IP65 water resistance and the ability to operate in harsh lighting of up to 100,000 Lux. It also arrives after the news that Suprema had made the A&S 2018 Security 50 rankings.
Acknowledging the Security World award in a statement, Suprema CEO Young S. Moon commented, “We would take this honor as the answer to our dedication in delivering innovative products and solutions to the global physical security market.” Young added that the biometric market “is shifting rapidly from technological advances to user convenience” as such technologies appear in more devices, and indicated that Suprema will double down on its effort to deliver leading solutions.
Other winners in the Security Award Korea 2018 program include ADT, Hikvision, and Honeywell.
