Suprema’s biometric devices are now compatible with a major access control platform, the company has announced. Access Control Technology Ltd. (ACT) has integrated Suprema’s technology into its ACTenterprise access control system.
ACTenterprise is a scalable and flexible software system designed with an emphasis on role-based differentiation, allowing varying degrees of access to different individuals within an organization. Now, Suprema’s biometric authentication systems, via EnterTech Systems’ BioConnect platform, have been integrated into ACTenterprise, allowing users to administrate biometric access control entirely through one software system.
In a statement, ACT Sales Director Michael Byrden explained that Suprema’s biometric technology and EnterTech’s BioConnect platform “align perfectly” with ACT’s efforts to offer high-quality access control solutions. “This robust combination will enable us to deliver the benefits of easy to use and highly secure biometrics through our ACTenterprise access control software,” he said.
Suprema has already enjoyed a couple of other major integrations this year, with BioConnect finding its way into Genetec’s Security Center platform in April, and into Paxton’s Net2 platform back in January. The deals help to push along the company’s momentum in revenue growth last year.
