Customer satisfaction can go a long way in biometrics and identity management. Increased security is not only indispensable for today’s businesses, financial institutions, healthcare providers and government agencies, it is completely necessary. Implementing biometric security can be a byzantine nightmare on the customer end, however, and poor technical support can make it worse. Lack of accessibility is among the biggest barriers in biometric adoption.
Today, long time identity solutions provider SuperCom announced that it has received new orders worth over $4 million. Expecting them to be completed before the second half of 2014, the company, whose solutions include electronic intelligence solutions for national ID, healthcare and public safety, is using the new orders to illustrate the trust that customers have placed in SuperCom.
SuperCom CEO Arie Trabelsi expresses this and more, saying, “I am very pleased with these new orders as it represents the realization and the potential in our proposals and bids pipe line. It also underscores the outstanding cooperation and the smooth integration that the newly acquired SmartID division has undergone over the past months.
“Beyond these orders, we see growing demand for our solutions globally,” he continues. “With the excellent team and solutions we have in place, we are poised to unlock the significant potential within SuperCom.”
SuperCom’s offerings include biometric enrollment, personalization, issuance and solutions for border control. With biometrics mainstreaming the what it has been over the past year, constantly penetrating new markets, it is becoming increasingly important to now only seek out new customers but also maintain healthy existing client relationships. Recognition has been awarded to the companies that are best at this, most recently with NEC winning the 2014 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Leadership.
The orders are indicative of SuperCom’s ability to retain and please its customers, an aspect of identity management that can give a company the competitive edge in the current biometrics landscape.
