STC Group is offering further details on its recently announced partnership with Falcon, a security solutions provider based in Egypt.
The two companies sealed their partnership at the recent Defense, Security and Public Safety Technologies Fair and Forum (DSS) in Egypt. The companies are aiming to offer aiming to target their solutions, which will incorporate STC’s biometric technology, to venues of mass gatherings, such as convention centers, stadiums, hotels, airports, and so on.
In a new statement commenting on the partnership, STC says it has “already started developing products with Egyptian Arabic dialect support” in an effort to target Falcon’s market in the Middle East and Africa region. The company added that its facial and voice biometrics solutions have already been implemented by government authorities in Ecuador and Mexico, and that its SmartTracker.FRS facial biometrics system is already being used “in several airports, football stadiums and ice hockey arenas”.
As such, Falcon should have a solid case to make for its new partner as it shops the solutions to its current and prospective customers.
