Biometric identity management solutions provider Cross Match Technologies announced today that it is not only participating in next week’s Biometrics Exhibition and Conference (BEC), which is being held in London, England, but the company is also a sponsor of the event.
The BEC is an annual event entering its 16th year that brings together the well known old pros and eager emerging companies in the biometrics industry. Running from October 15 through 17, this year the wide variety of topics that will be discussed during the event range from those entering the mainstream, like mobile biometrics and payment solutions, to those that are intended to make our lives easier by practically remaining invisible as they secure, authenticate and protect what matters most while reducing friction.
As a participant in the festivities, Cross Match will be demonstrating its whole range of biometric offerings that serve the vertical markets that keep people protected. The verticals Cross Match is best known for include law enforcement, government and commercial business.
Here is what attendees can expect to see demonstrated at the Cross Match booth starting on October 15: Cross Match’s WEBS Enrollment software platform, The SEEK Avenger (which was also on display at this year’s BCC in Tampa), the Authenticator credential reader and the company’s scalable mobile AFIS named CEIS (criminal enrollment and identification solution).
The suite of technologies on display in London are all varied, flexible and quickly becoming standard in their niches – good evidence that although consumer biometrics entering the market through the personal mobile industry is bringing the technology into the mainstream, there is a growing place for it in the verticals that Cross Match serves.
