“Organizers have also hinted at some of the major topics of Money20/20 Asia, including alternative lending, ‘augmented intelligence technology’, and tokenization in payments.”
Just a month and a half ahead of the inaugural Money20/20 Asia event, organizers have announced some details including a roster of high-profile keynote speakers.
Among them are some heavy-hitters: HSBC CIO Darryl West; Grace Yin, the head of Tencent’s WeChat Pay platform; Ant Financial CTO Cheng Li; ICICI Bank CTO Madhivanan Balakrishnan; and many more. Organizers have also hinted at some of the major topics of Money20/20 Asia, including alternative lending, “augmented intelligence technology”, and tokenization in payments. And, if the last few Money20/20 events offer any indication, biometric technology will get a large share of the spotlight, too.
In a statement, organizers also emphasized the dynamism of the event’s host city, lauding Singapore for “its international reputation as a gateway to Asia with its connectivity with regional economic powerhouses as well as the emergent FinTech markets in Southeast Asia.” Gesturing to the APAC region more broadly, Money20/20 President Tracey Davies said, “We are thrilled to expand Money20/20 to the world’s fastest-growing FinTech marketplace”.
Money20/20 Asia will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre from March 13th to 15th.
