Socure has announced a new version of its digital ID platform, ID+.
Offering modular identification solutions based on a single API, version 3.0 of the system enables verification of personal details like address, phone number, email, and so on, against data collected from over 300 online and offline sources. For high-risk transactions, the system allows users to require physical documents for verification.
The upgraded platform arrives after Socure raised $14 million from a recent Series B funding round, and long after the company integrated facial recognition into its platform back in 2015. And it arrives with the help of AU10TIX, whose driver license and passport processing technology is being used in the platform. In a statement announcing the upgrade, AU10TIX Managing Director Ron Atzmon said the companies are “looking forward to continuing to work together and address market opportunities.”
Socure has been showing off its solution at this week’s FinovateFall conference in New York, and will release ID+ v3.0 on October 1st.
