“…it’s a smartphone made by a Taiwan-based OEM, and that it’s aimed at the Russian market.”
Fingerprint Cards and Precise Biometrics are powering the biometric capabilities of a new smartphone. The device uses an FPC1035 fingerprint sensor combined with Precise Biometrics’ Precise BioMatch Mobile algorithm software.
In separate statements announcing the integrations, both companies declined to mention the device and vendor in question. But they did both indicate that it’s a smartphone made by a Taiwan-based OEM, and that it’s aimed at the Russian market.
The integrations come immediately in the wake of the companies’ Micromax integrations announced last week. That India-based OEM used the same pairing – an FPC1035 sensor running Precise BioMatch Mobile software – in its new device, though FPC and Precise Biometrics also declined to name the model in question for that deployment.
