Smart Eye Technology has partnered with fintech advisory firm Finov8r to bring advanced fraud prevention capabilities to U.S. community banks. The strategic alliance aims to integrate Smart Eye’s continuous authentication technology into community banking systems to combat rising digital transaction fraud.
The partnership comes as Smart Eye continues to expand its presence in the cybersecurity sector, following its recent selection for the Tampa Bay Wave CyberTech|X Accelerator program. The company has been actively strengthening its biometric technology portfolio, as evidenced by its recent licensing agreement with Fingerprint Cards AB for iris recognition technology.
Smart Eye’s authentication solution uses continuous facial recognition and multi-biometric security to verify users throughout banking sessions, particularly during high-risk transactions like wire transfers and ACH payments. The technology aims to address vulnerabilities in traditional security measures such as passwords and two-factor authentication, which are increasingly susceptible to social engineering attacks.
Finov8r, based in Austin, Texas, will leverage its fintech expertise to help integrate Smart Eye’s technology into existing community banking infrastructure. The advisory firm specializes in transforming legacy systems and optimizing digital strategies for financial institutions, making it well-positioned to facilitate the adoption of advanced biometric security measures.
The collaboration represents a step forward in bringing advanced security technology to community banks, which have traditionally been underserved in terms of access to cutting-edge fraud prevention tools. The partnership is expected to begin rolling out solutions to select community banks in the coming months.
