Smart Eye Technology, established in 2018 by Dexter Caffey, specializes in continuous facial recognition and user authentication for cybersecurity. The company’s main product, SETI Protect, is a Google Chrome extension that guards against remote desktop attacks, which represent about 90 percent of cyber intrusions.
The company’s core technologies include continuous facial recognition monitoring, multi-factor biometric authentication, real-time user behavior analysis, immediate screen blocking for unauthorized users, and SETI Mode API for software integration.
Since its founding, Smart Eye Technology has secured $7 million in funding. The company moved to Bentonville in 2023 after participating in the Fuel Accelerator program. Its client base spans financial services, healthcare, legal services, and government agencies, with United Bank of Springdale and Chenal Family Therapy of Little Rock among its notable customers.
The company has formed key partnerships with Caylent and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for app development.
Smart Eye Technology is currently developing a desktop version of its facial recognition system and plans to add voice recognition and printing behavior analysis features. The company is exploring partnerships with 11 Arkansas banks.
The Tampa Bay Wave CyberTech|X Accelerator program selection strengthens Smart Eye Technology’s position in addressing cybersecurity challenges within data protection and user authentication.
