Remote work solutions provider SecureReview has announced SessionGuardian Enterprise, a new cybersecurity solution aimed at helping small to medium sized enterprises secure their networks.
SessionGuardian Enterprise plugs into existing hosted virtual machine infrastructures, and is a biometrics and artificial intelligence-powered solution that is compatible with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Citrix, VMware and other popular virtualization platforms.
Enterprises using SessionGuardian have their documents, software and other sensitive data protected via a screen-blurring feature that is activated under a number of different scenarios, including when unauthorized users are detected looking over an authorized user’s shoulder, if authorized users look away from their screen, or if a smartphone camera is detected to be pointed at a screen.
Screenshots and screen shares are also blocked and disabled as a means of extra security against data theft.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a dramatic rise in remote work has led to an increase in security needs for enterprises of all sizes. With more people conducting business online, hack attacks have also been on the rise, with experts from all over the world recommending various biometric solutions as a means of combating the increased cyberthreats.
“The enterprise version of our SessionGuardian offering can be implemented at a fraction of the cost,” said Jordan Ellington, Founder of SecureReview. “The IT department is happy because SessionGuardian does such a good job of locking down sensitive data while maintaining control of Virtual Machine Infrastructure.”
Ellington went on to point out that SessionGuard Enterprise can also lead to an increase in savings as users are able to work from home on their own machines, saving organizations from the need to buy computer equipment for their employees.
