“First among those customers is Mizuho Bank, the retail and corporate banking arm of one of Japan’s biggest financial services firms, which will integrate Sensory’s technology into its mobile banking app.”
Fujistu is now bringing Sensory Inc.‘s TrulySecure facial recognition technology to its customers thanks to a new partnership between the companies.
The aim is to target Sensory’s FIDO Certified solution to Fujitsu’s clients in the financial services and enterprise sectors. TrulySecure is designed to enable facial recognition using standard smartphone cameras, and was used to power the user authentication capabilities of LG’s flagship V30 smartphone earlier this year.
For Fujitsu, that equates to another cutting-edge biometric security solution it can offer to its clients. In a statement announcing the partnership, Fujitsu Ltd. Front Digital Service Business Division VP Michihiko Ejiri explained that his firm prides itself on being able to offer customers “the best biometrics authentication technologies available,” and that the Sensory partnership “has allowed us to help our customers around the world improve the user experience provided by their apps by integrating face biometric authentication technologies into them.”
First among those customers is Mizuho Bank, the retail and corporate banking arm of one of Japan’s biggest financial services firms, which will integrate Sensory’s technology into its mobile banking app. And with excitement around mobile facial recognition on the rise with the launch of Apple’s Face ID system in its iPhone X, more Fujitsu customers may soon jump on board.
