SecuGen to Showcase Bluetooth Fingerprint Sensor at RSA 2017

SecuGen will show off its new UN20 Bluetooth fingerprint sensor at RSA 2017, the company has announced.

The device was first announced late last year. Part of SecuGen’s Unity BDP product line, it’s a FIPS 201 PIV/FAP 20 certified fingerprint sensor based on a customizable open source operating system. The company showcased the device alongside its UN20 Serial sensor at the Consumer Electronics Show at the start of this year.

RSA 2017 offers perhaps a more focused marketing opportunity for the company. The event revolves around cybersecurity, an area in which fingerprint-based authentication is playing an increasingly important role, and features keynote speakers from academia and industry.

RSA 2017 will take place in San Francisco from February 13th to 17th. SecuGen will be showcasing its solutions at booth N4802 in the North Hall of the Moscone Center.
