SECON 2018 took place at KINTEX, Seoul, Korea this past March 14th to 16th. The security exhibition included delegates and buyers from all over the world, with a specialized focus on integrated security, the core infrastructure of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and IT security.
With 433 companies from 12 countries, the conference introduced more than 2,000 security products like video surveillance, IT security, homeland security, industry security, IoT security, and social security systems.
Another thing that’s secure is SECON’s place as Asia’s leading integrated security exhibition with a post-show visitor count of 46, 324 people during the exhibition from more than 25 countries primarily from Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, China, Singapore, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Jong-In Lim, the head of the SECON Organizing Committee remarked, “SECON and eGISEC positioned as the most representative consolidated security exhibition not only in Korea, but also in Asia. Especially, 2018 show is really meaningful as we hold “Private Security – Public Safety MOU” signing ceremony between Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and Korea’s representative consolidated security service company and award ceremony in city security control field managed by Ministry of the Interior and Security. We will do our best to make SECON as a security business hub in Asia continuously.”
SECON has been growing by more than 13 percent every year, and it looks as though SECON 19 will be no exception, scheduled March 6th – 8th, 2019 at KINTEX, Seoul, Korea.
