The homecare technology specialist Sandata Technologies has hired a new Chief Sales Officer. Chad Turner has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, and formerly served as the Vice President of Sales at athenahealth.
As CSO, Turner will be expected to drive growth as the leader of Sandata’s Sales and Marketing Teams. The company noted that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has generated more interest in remote home healthcare solutions that minimize the need for in-person contact.
“We are living in unprecedented times and the past few months have highlighted the vital role that homecare plays as part of the U.S. healthcare system,” said Turner. “I believe Sandata is uniquely positioned to partner with payers, providers, and patients to drive quality, efficiency, and outcomes in the growing homecare market.”
“Chad’s experience, combined with his strategic approach to building a strong sales culture, is a perfect match for Sandata,” added Sandata CEO Tom Underwood. “He has been successful throughout his career, having built longstanding relationships with the healthcare clients that his teams have served, and we look forward to the same success at Sandata.”
Turner’s career includes previous sales roles at Allscripts and IDX Systems, as well as a stint as the Chief Operations Officer at Arrowhead Medical. Sandata is the developer of the Sandata Electronic Visit Verification homecare solution, which offers biometric monitoring capabilities.
