The Mobile Connect Summit is taking place in London this week, and Safran Identity & Security is taking the opportunity to promote its own solutions at the event.
The summit precedes the launch of Release 2 of the GSMA’s Mobile Connect mobile ID specification, with the new version featuring biometric capabilities. As such, industry experts convening for the event should have much to discuss, and Safran will have solutions to discuss accordingly. The company developed a selfie-based mobile authentication solution last year which received FIDO certification this past January just before Safran brought it to GSMA Mobile Connect; and the company also has plans to highlight real-world deployments from its solution’s integration into Aadhaar, India’s national biometric ID program.
That program recently reached a billion enrollments and continues to expand in India, so Safran’s related case studies should carry some weight. Meanwhile, Safran has also been preparing to promote its MorphoFlex eSIM provisioning solution at the Sierra Wireless Innovation Summit next week, a related effort that highlights the company’s growing prowess in the area of mobile security and authentication. With its various efforts in the mobile domain over the past several months, the company is quickly emerging as a major solutions provider for these kinds of technologies.
