Incode has unveiled an innovative enterprise cybersecurity solution at this week’s RSA Conference.
Called “Incode Workforce”, it’s aimed at addressing the critical and growing issue of identity-based fraud in corporate environments. It uses advanced facial authentication technology to help prevent fraud, particularly from sophisticated threats like deepfake attacks. The technology is meant to not only enhance security but also streamline the user authentication process by allowing quick, real-time identity verification which integrates seamlessly with existing identity and access management (IAM) systems such as Okta and Microsoft Entra.
Okta specializes in single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity lifecycle management, offering seamless and secure access to applications. Microsoft Entra, formerly known as Azure Active Directory, offers similar functionalities, including comprehensive identity and access governance and entitlement management. Incode Workforce’s integration with both systems is important because it will allow many organizations to easily adopt advanced facial authentication technology within their existing IAM frameworks.
The integration of Incode Workforce with existing corporate infrastructure is designed to be straightforward and quick, typically requiring less than an hour to set up without the need for additional development. This ease of integration ensures that organizations can enhance their security measures without significant disruption to their existing systems or workflows.
Incode Workforce also offers significant operational efficiencies by reducing the reliance on help desks through its automated identity verification processes. Incode says this automation can cut operational costs by up to 50 percent, and that it improves employee productivity by speeding up the authentication process.
Also important: by using biometric data, Incode Workforce eliminates several vulnerabilities associated with traditional multi-factor authentication methods, including those related to social engineering and hardware token loss.
Incode is already a prominent provider of these kinds of biometric solutions to the government sector, thanks in part to its partnership with Carahsoft – its “Master Government Aggregator” – established last year. Now, Incode Workforce is poised to further extend the company’s reach across the corporate sector.
