RAH Infotech has partnered with 1Kosmos to distribute identity proofing and passwordless authentication technologies to enterprises across India.
The cybersecurity distributor will offer 1Kosmos capabilities for identity verification, document validation, liveness detection, adaptive access, and passwordless authentication. The companies are targeting banking and financial services, government, healthcare, telecom, IT services, and other sectors where remote onboarding and secure access controls are becoming more important.
1Kosmos combines identity proofing and authentication in a single platform, using document checks, biometric liveness, and FIDO-based passwordless authentication to verify a user before granting access to systems or sensitive workflows. RAH Infotech said the partnership will give its channel partners and enterprise customers local implementation support for those capabilities.
The agreement extends 1Kosmos’s enterprise distribution footprint at a time when the company has been pushing its platform into more access-management environments. 1Kosmos recently joined the Saviynt Exchange to support biometric proofing and passwordless identity workflows, and it has brought step-up identity verification to ServiceNow for help desk recovery.
RAH Infotech founder and managing director Ashok Kumar said AI-driven impersonation has increased the need to validate the identity of the person presenting credentials, not just the credentials themselves. 1Kosmos APAC COO Siddharth Gandhi said organizations are facing more identity-based attacks, including credential compromise, social engineering, and AI-enabled impersonation.
The companies are positioning the platform for employee onboarding, remote workforce access, customer identity verification, privileged access protection, account recovery, and fraud prevention. Those use cases align with a wider move away from passwords and knowledge-based checks toward identity-bound authentication.
Indian enterprises across financial services and public-sector workflows are adopting digital onboarding, hybrid work authentication, and fraud prevention measures. The distributor-led model gives 1Kosmos a channel for local deployment and support through RAH Infotech’s existing partner network.
1Kosmos has also raised $57 million to expand its biometric identity platform, with a focus on workforce and customer identity deployments across regulated sectors.
1Kosmos says its platform holds FIDO2, NIST 800-63-3, and iBeta ISO 30107-3 certifications for biometric liveness detection. RAH Infotech operates as a value-added distributor with a partner network covering enterprise, government, and mid-market customers across India. The partnership covers the full 1Kosmos product line, including BlockID for workforce identity and customer onboarding workflows.
