Prove has announced the appointment of Linda Mantia to its Board of Directors. Mantia brings nearly 30 years of executive leadership and corporate advisory experience, further strengthening Prove’s strategic direction as the company continues to grow.
In her most recent role, Mantia served as Chief Operating Officer at Manulife Financial Corporation, where she oversaw critical corporate functions, including technology, analytics, innovation, and corporate strategy. Her experience also includes leadership positions at Royal Bank of Canada, where she led the development of credit cards and mobile banking solutions.
“To continue our growth, foster fresh ideas and strive for the best customer experience, the guidance of our Board of Directors is paramount,” wrote the company in a recent blog post. “Linda’s proven experience in leading companies, and her deep knowledge of the financial industry, positions her as a critical strategic advisor during this time of growth for the company.”
Mantia’s career began in law, practicing at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg, followed by a role as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., and she currently serves on the boards of several companies, including Dayforce, Maple Leaf Foods, and McKesson.
Mantia holds a law degree from Queen’s University and has been recognized twice as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women. Additionally, she is involved in the non-business community, serving on the boards of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Queen’s University.
Prove, which focuses on enabling secure and seamless transactions for businesses and consumers, will look to leverage Mantia’s expertise in enhancing customer experiences and preventing fraud.
Prove’s Fraud & Cybercrime Executive Advisor and VP of Client Experience, Mary Ann Miller joined the ID Talk podcast earlier this year to discuss the evolving landscape of AI-enhanced fraud and the innovative solutions emerging to combat it. The conversation explored the dual nature of the generative AI boom, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges it presents in the realm of identity security, while also looking into how biometrics and Prove’s phone-based anti-fraud technologies play a crucial role in safeguarding against these AI-driven threats.
