Precise Biometrics is taking a brief look back at 2020, and celebrating the fact that the company was able to accomplish many of its goals despite the disruption caused by COVID-19. The company noted that its mobile business has continued to perform well, as has its burgeoning digital identity business and its YOUNiQ solution in particular.
The company is now hoping to build on that trend as it heads into 2021. YOUNiQ has proven to be especially popular in the access control space, and has now been deployed at more than 40 locations all over Sweden. That includes Precise’s new office in Lund, which opened last month and leverages YOUNiQ to facilitate touchless entry to the building.
Moving forward, Precise indicated that YOUNiQ demand is increasing with both new and existing customers as people become more familiar with the technology. With that in mind, the company will be kicking off the new year with a webinar on the benefits of digital transformation in access control. The webinar is scheduled for January 16, and will feature Alan Goode of Goode Intelligence and Fredrik Sidhagen of RCO Security. The latter company has integrated YOUNiQ into the access control setup at its own headquarters in Järfälla.
