Precise Biometrics has appointed a new CFO. Göran Thuresson will take the position starting November 9th.
Thuresson joins the company from a position as CFO at gtIM AB, which he describes on LinkedIn as “an industrial company” in Sweden; and he has had other recent stints as CFO and Nordic Integration Manager with Weidmüller. Thuresson has also held positions with BE Group, Procordia Food, Schneider Electric, and Securitas.
In a statement announcing the appointment, Precise Biometrics CEO Håkan Persson said he expects that Thuresson’s “valuable experience will contribute to the development of the company and strengthen our operational focus further.”
In joining the team, Thuresson replaced Interim CFO Tommy Nilsson, who took the reins in June of last year after the company’s previous CFO, Göran Jaxelius, unexpectedly stepped down for personal reasons.
