Invixium has connected its IXM WEB biometric software to another access control platform: It now supports Paxton’s Net2 solution.
The integration should help with biometric onboarding of end users, with Net2 administrators being instantly transitioned to the IXM WEB system for biometric registration. Meanwhile, IXM WEB’s IXM Link module automatically syncs user data between the databases.
News of the compatibility comes immediately on the heels of Invixium’s announcement that RS2 had integrated support for its biometric access control software into its Access It! access control platform. As for hardware, Paxton’s Net2 platform has supported biometric authentication for years, thanks to a partnership with Suprema announced at the start of 2015. That early support for biometric authentication may have helped Paxton to make the Net2 platform as successful as it has become, with Paxton asserting in a statement that it’s “the UK’s most popular access control solution, with more than 150 additional buildings being outfitted with it every week.”
Now, with its integration with IXM WEB, Net2 should offer even greater simplicity in biometric access control deployments.
