Partnership Aims to Send Biometric Patient Monitoring Data to Clinicians

Medical monitoring program MonitorMe has announced a partnership with recruitment firm and IT outsourcing service provider Harvey Nash/Nash Tech Global for a remote healthcare solution that connects patients at home with clinicians.

Patients are monitored using biometric sensors that measure and track metrics such as blood pressure and heart rate in real-time. MonitorMe’s 24-hour Monitoring Intervention Center (MIC) has physicians on staff that can immediately diagnose patients upon analysis of their metrics, and help them secure the proper medical attention.

The biometric sensors are housed in MonitorMe’s wireless patch that the patients attach to their chest, allowing it to relay their heart rate and rhythm, breathing rate, and oxygen levels. Additionally, using their mobile device or a computer, patients have a constant channel of communication with clinicians.
