The COVID-19 pandemic may have wiped out the summer industry events tour, but that isn’t stopping Onfido from spreading the word about digital identity in online-only events.
With the selfie authentication specialist already poised to participate in an expert webinar this week alongside BioCatch, FacePhi, and Nok Nok Labs, the company has announced another webinar next week that will be focused on the transformation of healthcare services.
Slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. EDT on June 24, the event will feature Onfido CEO and co-founder Husayn Kassai, Mastercard VP Bryn Robinson-Morgan, The Commons Project CEO and co-founder Paul Meyer, and tech journalist and presenter Zoe Kleinman. Focusing on how COVID-19 has accelerated the healthcare sector’s digitization, the webinar will delve into topics such as the protection of patient privacy, contact tracing and telemedicine, the specific applications of digital identity in healthcare, and more.
It will likely be impossible to avoid the issue of COVID-19 in this week’s webinar, which is focused on trust and authentication in the financial services sector specifically. But next week’s healthcare-focused webinar, entitled “The role of Digital Identity in the Healthcare Services transformation“, will offer a whole other angle from which to look at how digital identity technologies can help to make a meaningful difference in helping society to cope with COVID-19.
Registration for the webinar is free and open now.
