OneSpan has introduced DigipassONE, a platform that brings authentication, transaction signing, application protection, analytics and digital credentials under a common administration layer. The company is positioning it as a migration path for organizations that want to add passkeys and newer credential models without replacing established authentication systems at once.
DigipassONE supports one-time passwords, FIDO2 authentication, OneSpan’s Digipass authenticators and its Cronto visual transaction-signing technology. Customers can combine cloud and on-premises deployments as well as software and hardware authenticators, with centralized policy configuration, monitoring and reporting.
The product is modular, allowing organizations to deploy individual capabilities and add others over time. That design addresses a common problem in authentication modernization: a workforce or customer base may already use several generations of tokens, mobile authenticators and transaction controls, making a single cutover operationally difficult.
FIDO2 provides phishing-resistant public-key authentication and underpins passkeys, while transaction signing links approval to the details of a specific payment or other high-risk action. Bringing those functions together allows policy teams to apply different assurance requirements according to the user, device and transaction.
Digital credentials are also part of the platform roadmap. OneSpan recently opened early access to a credentials service designed to issue, manage and verify credentials across mobile wallets. It is also participating in European Union digital identity wallet pilots focused on business and payment use cases.
The unified platform approach gives those newer credential functions a route into environments already using Digipass products. OneSpan says organizations can preserve existing hardware and software investments while applying shared administration and analytics across the expanded set of controls.
DigipassONE enters a market increasingly shaped by passwordless authentication, mobile credentials and regulatory requirements for strong transaction approval. Its support for both legacy and newer methods reflects the reality that large financial institutions and enterprises often modernize in stages rather than replace every authenticator simultaneously.
DigipassONE acts as an orchestration and management layer across multiple OneSpan capabilities rather than as a single authentication method, giving administrators a consolidated view while users continue to encounter the method assigned to their particular risk and access context across different applications and user groups.
