One Identity has released Identity Manager 10.0, introducing new capabilities in risk-based governance, identity threat detection and response (ITDR), and AI-assisted reporting for identity governance teams managing large and complex enterprise environments. The company describes Identity Manager as a long-running platform used to govern identities at scale, with version 10.0 adding new automation and integration capabilities intended to support faster response to identity-driven attacks.
Risk signals pulled into governance workflows: A central addition in Identity Manager 10.0 is support for ingesting user risk scores from external analytics platforms and user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) tools. One Identity says the goal is to bring risk signals from detection systems into governance operations, so identity teams can prioritize actions based on a user’s risk posture rather than treating governance tasks as purely schedule-driven compliance work.
The release also introduces ITDR playbooks that automate remediation and governance actions when threats are identified. One Identity lists example actions including disabling accounts, flagging security incidents, and launching targeted attestations. The objective is to shorten the gap between detection and action when identity threats emerge, using predefined playbooks to initiate consistent response steps through governance controls.
Browser administration and LLM-assisted reporting: Identity Manager 10.0 adds a browser-based administration interface, which One Identity says eliminates the need for desktop installation for administrative functionality. The company also describes AI-assisted reporting powered by a secure, customer-controlled large language model, allowing authorized users to query identity data in natural language. One Identity says this reduces reliance on complex SQL for reporting and supports audits, reviews, and compliance workflows by speeding up access to governance insights.
On monitoring integration, the release cites improved SIEM interoperability through standards-based Syslog CEF formatting, intended to make it easier to integrate identity governance signals into security operations workflows and monitoring platforms.
“One Identity Manager 10.0 is a major upgrade that strengthens identity governance as a critical security component for protecting enterprise environments,” said Praerit Garg, CEO of One Identity. “Organizations today face relentless identity-driven threats. This release combines a proven governance foundation with intelligence, automation, and usability that help security teams detect risk earlier, take decisive action, and operate at scale with confidence.”
A partner quote from Ciro Guariglia, CTO of Intragen by Nomios, points to changes in platform mechanics for large-scale deployments, including improvements to the data model and automation engine, and a more scalable, policy-driven approach to attestations designed to reduce administrative burden during large certification campaigns.
One Identity is led by recently appointed CEO Praerit Garg, who joined the company in September 2025 to drive an AI-first strategy across its unified identity platform.
