Premises management solutions provider Observables has teamed up with biometric access control specialist ZKTeco USA.
In a statement announcing the partnership, the companies framed it as “a Joint Marketing, Reseller and Development agreement”, which brings ZKTeco’s biometric technologies to Observables’ solutions portfolio. “Observables users can now enjoy fully integrated, cutting-edge biometric access control with fingerprint scanning, facial recognition, and artificial intelligence,” explained Observables CEO Abe Schryer.
News of the partnership comes immediately on the heels of ZKTeco’s announcement of the Trove2Z2, a central power board through which biometric access control systems can be configured. The solution is the product of another partnership, in that case with power and data transmission specialist Altronix.
The news also arrives at the start of Physical Access and Enterprise Month at FindBiometrics, which will culminate in an expert webinar on April 25th. It all points to the growing activity in the biometric access control market, which continues to expand as technological solutions advance and everyday users become more familiar with biometric technologies.
