Nymi has solidified its ThinManager relationship with Rockwell Automation. ThinManager is a software management platform that was designed to make factory operations more efficient.
Thanks to the Nymi partnership, ThinManager customers can leverage the Nymi Band for physical and digital access control. The Band uses heartbeat biometrics to continuously authenticate the user while it is being worn, allowing the employee to log into workstations and pass through security checkpoints with a simple, touchless tap.
Now the two parties have announced that Nymi has joined the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork, which makes the company an official Rockwell Automation Encompass Partner. The news comes just over a year after Nymi and Rockwell first joined forces, and a few days after the launch of Nymi’s own Technology Partner Program, of which Rockwell is a member. The two companies are now planning to showcase the fruits of their collaboration at the Rockwell Automation At Home Fair, which will run from November 16-20.
“We see our product working side by side with ThinManager to help companies be secure, safe, and efficient in their day to day operations,” said Nymi VP Andrew Foxcroft. “The Nymi Band, combined with ThinManager’s knowledge of the modern factory, provides a solution to address pain points in Pharma and highly regulated manufacturing processes.”
Nymi CEO Chris Sullivan will participate in two sessions during the At Home Fair. The first – titled “The Urgency of Cybersecurity: Take the Next Step” – will take place on Monday, November 16, at 2:00 p.m. ET, while the second – “Digitizing the Active Worker” – will kick off on November 19 at 3:00 p.m. Nymi itself will be part of the New Products and Solutions Showcase during the virtual event.
Nymi recently released the Nymi Band 3.0, which has contact tracing capabilities that can help venue operators to enforce social distancing requirements. HID Global and POMS are some of the other members of the company’s Technology Partner Program.
