NuData has received more high-profile plaudits for its NuDetect behavioral analytics platform. The company has won the 2016 METAward in the ‘established’ category.
The METAwards are organized by the Merchant Risk Council, and are given to two companies – one in the ‘startup’ category, and one in the ’emerging’ category for businesses that have been in operation for more than three years. NuData was recognized for its flagship platform, which analyzes the behavioral patterns of website and app users to determine risk levels with respect to fraud. The system is capable of detecting threats well in advance of potential attacks, with the added benefit that the behavioral biometrics data that it collects is pretty much useless to hackers since it’s virtually immune to replication.
Commenting on the METAward in a statement, NuData CEO Michel Giasson called NuDetect a solution that “doesn’t break the bank nor hamper the customer experience, but instead increases good customer experience, revenues and conversions,” adding, “We are pleased that the market is responding to it and industry leading award bodies are as well.”
Indeed, the company has previously received accolades from the likes of Gartner, which called it a Cool Vendor in Cloud Security, and it has also been lauded at the 2016 Pay Awards, the 2016 Cyber Defense Magazine Infosec Awards, and the 2015 and 2016 Info Security Product Guide’s Global Excellence Awards.
