Nok Nok Labs is celebrating a glowing start to 2019 after a string of major industry accolades.
The run began with the 2019 GLOMO Awards, where Nok Nok’s S3 Authentication Suite was named the Best Mobile Authentication and Security Solution when prizes were handed out during last Month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
A few weeks later, Nok Nok CEO Phillip Dunkelberger received the Decade of Vision Leadership Award from the Cloud Security Alliance, while the FIDO Alliance – which was co-founded by Nok Nok Labs – was given the 2019 SC Editor’s Choice Award by SC Magazine.
Together, the three awards speak to Nok Nok’s pioneering role in the biometric authentication industry. As one of the earliest adopters of FIDO2 authentication standards, the company has been a key player in the ongoing effort to replace passwords with strong biometric security.
Dunkelberger’s CSA award similarly recognized his role as one of the three founding CEOs who provided the initial funding for the Cloud Security Alliance. The ceremony took place during the recent RSA Conference at the CSA Summit.
“Successful CEOs in our industry share common traits — a sense of the magnitude of the battle we fight that supersedes any one company’s mission, a longer-term perspective than the immediacy of today, and tremendous empathy and support for the good guys in our industry,” said CSA CEO Jim Reavis.
Nok Nok’s year was already off to a great start thanks to new partnerships with MTRIX, SoftBank, and MUFG Bank. The latest batch of awards suggests that the success is likely to continue.
