NICE Ltd. has received a plaudit from Saddletree Research, a veteran-owned market research firm specializing in the North American contact center market. Saddletree has bestowed NICE with its 2016 Kachina Award for its use of biometric authentication technology.
The Kachina Award “recognizes outstanding innovation and market leadership as determined by a panel of independent contact center industry experts and customer service professionals,” according to a statement from the companies. NICE earned it with its Real-Time Authentication (RTA) solution, which is designed to apply voice biometrics to natural speech in order to identify callers within just a few seconds, and without any special effort on their part.
There’s a growing market for solutions like NICE’s RTA, with financial services organizations in particular embracing voice biometrics for their call-in centers. Acknowledging the award, NICE President Miki Migdal said it “further strengthens our position as a pioneer in our market, and our commitment to helping organizations deliver perfect customer experiences.”
