Atlanta-based IT firm Noftek has joined the Ipsidy Partner Network, expanding their product and services offering to include Ipsidy’s Identity-as-a-Service platform. Noftek will initially focus its sales efforts on the British Virgin Islands, a key focus area for the firm.
At the partnership’s outset, Noftek will sell Verified, a biometric authentication solution for mobile devices that revolves around selfie-based facial recognition. The offering should complement Noftek’s current security solutions portfolio, which already includes other solutions for disaster recovery, data security, and regulatory compliance.
“We are delighted to add Ipsidy’s biometric authentication solutions to our portfolio,” said Noftek Managing Partner Letson Jackson in a statement announcing the development, adding later that his team believes Verified “will be a key part of our offering going forward and will enable us to become an early leader in the Caribbean market for this service.”
For Ipsidy’s part, Director of Identity James Tuffery also emphasized the strategic important of the partnership, particularly with respect to geographic expansion. “Ipsidy is excited to have Noftek join the Ipsidy Partner Network and help us expand into the Caribbean,” he said.
The news comes soon after Ipsidy’s launch of Proof, an identity verification app combining facial recognition and document reading, earlier this month.
