Zepp Health, a global player in smart wearables, has announced the US release of the Amazfit Helio Ring. Designed for athletes, the smart ring focuses on in-depth biometric data collection to aid in performance and recovery tracking.
The Helio Ring emphasizes comfort and accuracy, and is intended to be worn while sleeping for optimal data collection. Its proximity to the user’s pulse allows for enhanced health monitoring compared to traditional wrist-worn wearables.
When paired with a compatible Amazfit smartwatch, the Helio Ring integrates its data seamlessly with the Zepp App, and provides wearers with a unified view of workout data and recovery metrics within a single platform.
The Zepp App acts as the command center for Amazfit devices, collecting data from both the Helio Ring and compatible smartwatches. It offers a comprehensive look at workout performance alongside recovery insights, such as sleep quality and heart rate patterns. The app analyzes this data to provide actionable guidance with metrics like the daily Readiness score, helping wearers optimize their training and recovery cycles.
It also tracks sleep patterns and heart rate variability, offering insights into the wearer’s overall condition. The Zepp App then processes this data to provide a daily Readiness score, along with other key recovery indicators.
The Amazfit Helio Ring will be available in the US on May 15th, 2024, retailing for $299.99. Bundles with compatible Amazfit smartwatches are planned, with a global rollout to follow.
