At a time when digital security is perhaps more top of mind than ever, BIO-key has issued a new White Paper on biometric, multi-factor authentication.
The aptly-named report, “Why Your Multifactor Authentication Platform Should Include Biometrics“, helps to make its case with excerpts from the FBI’s Private Industry Report issued last year, and startling figures concerning the recent increase in security breaches. The report isn’t just designed to raise alarm, however; it also details how biometrics can be used to enhance or replace existing authentication mechanisms.
The report arrives alongside a short video that lays out a very succinct case for biometric authentication, with a helpful quotation from Microsoft CISO Bret Arsenault and data concerning user satisfaction rates. It also highlights specific security solutions offered by BIO-key.
“Today, more than ever, as we embrace the new blended remote work model, the assuredness of identifying the user with their biometric becomes an invaluable security tool for many organizations,” said BIO-key CEO Michael DePasquale.
The report is now available for free through BIO-key’s website, while the accompanying video brief can be accessed on YouTube.
