“We are very pleased Debbie and Mark have joined our company. Their years of experience in financial services, physical access, enterprise technology, global scale and culture fit make them ideal leaders to join our mission,” – Rob Douglas, Chairman & CEO, BioConnect
BioConnect is looking to further build on excitement over its multimodal biometric authentication solutions with two new executive appointments.
One of them concerns the company’s Advisory Board, which now features the expertise of Debbie Landers, a former IBM executive who spent over 30 years with the company before launching her own consulting service, Future Now Consulting. Landers brings to the role “extensive experience in Enterprise Software, including working with Cyber Security, AI, Analytics and Blockchain across the IBM ecosystem globally,” BioConnect explained in announcing her appointment.
Looking more directly to BioConnect’s leadership structure, the company has also appointed Mark Brady as its new VP of Financial Services. Brady comes to the company from a 12-year role as SAP’s Financial Services Client Executive, and “will play a strategic role in working with partners like IBM to bring the BioConnect Enterprise Authentication Platform to financial organizations across the US and Canada,” according to BioConnect.
Offering his own personal commentary on the appointments, BioConnect CEO Rob Douglas lauded the executives for their experience and their “culture fit”, asserting that they are “ideal leaders to join our mission.”
The news comes after BioConnect’s launch of a partner program for IAM solutions just ahead of this year’s ISC West security conference, where CEO Rob Douglas participated on an expert panel discussion on biometric enterprise security.
