NetLync is partnering with Shufti Pro in an effort to streamline the onboarding experience for its customers. Shufti Pro is best known for its document verification tech, while NetLync provides e-SIM management and distribution services for the mobile industry.
The strategic partnership will allow the mobile network operators that use NetLync’s UNITE Platform to take advantage of Shufti Pro’s identity verification technology in their own onboarding workflows for end users. That technology can be deployed to enable remote registration in a mobile app or web browser, or installed in a physical kiosk or vending machine to deliver a similar utility in an in-person setting.
Shufti Pro’s offerings can help mobile operators meet their Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering obligations. The company’s document recognition solution can read the personal information printed on an identity document, and can now cross-reference that with the information in a document’s chip thanks to an NFC Verification feature that was added in April. Shufti Pro can also use facial recognition to match a selfie to the image on an ID.
“We pride ourselves on making global businesses more secure by delivering cost-effective and highly accurate ID verification services,” said Shufti Pro CEO Victor Fredung. “Our AI-based KYC solution will enable NetLync to onboard customers within seconds, while enabling them to scale and meet regulatory requirements.”
“KYC and identity verification are critical for a seamless digital customer experience,” added NetLync CEO Emir Aboulhosn. “Our partnership with Shufti Pro adds a secure, accurate, and reliable KYC option to our e-SIM onboarding solution for mobile operators.”
Shufti Pro’s services are offered in more than 230 countries and territories. The company’s solutions have been listed on the Salesforce App Exchange, while the company itself recently launched a new Chinese language website to help raise its profile in the country.
